Staff Forum 2026

On 23 June, our Oseca team came together at the Mandurah Bowling Club for our Staff Forum 2026, and what a wonderful day it was.

With team members travelling from across all our sites, it was incredibly special to spend time together, catch up with familiar faces, and connect with colleagues we don’t often get to see in person. For some of us, it was also the first time meeting new team members face-to-face, which made the day even more meaningful. It was a great reminder of the amazing people who make up the Oseca family and the shared purpose that brings us all together.

We were fortunate to start the day with a powerful wellbeing session from Jeremy, our Clinical Psychologist at Peel Health Hub, who encouraged us to slow down and focus on being present. It was a timely and valuable reminder in our busy lives and work.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, Graham Harvey, whose inspiring presentation left a lasting impression on many of us. Graham spoke deeply about our values, challenging us to think about how we can live and breathe them every day—not just in the work we do, but in how we support one another and our communities.

We also heard from our Board Chair, David Barton, who shared Oseca’s vision and strategic direction for the next three years. It was exciting to hear about where we’re heading as an organisation and the opportunities that lie ahead.

One of the most special moments of the day was celebrating the dedication and commitment of our team members who reached significant milestones of 5, 10 and 15 years of service. Your contribution to Oseca is deeply valued and appreciated.

We also took time to farewell Uncle George, who is retiring after more than 15 years of service. Uncle George has touched the lives of many people throughout his time with Oseca, and while we will miss him greatly, we wish him all the happiness and relaxation he deserves in this next chapter.

A big thank you to Kirstin for keeping the day running so smoothly as our MC, and to Oksana and the organising team for all the work that went into bringing the forum together. Events like these don’t happen without a lot of effort behind the scenes.

The day was filled with learning, laughter, reflection and celebration. Most importantly, it reminded us of the strength of our team and the importance of coming together.

We left feeling connected, inspired and proud to be part of Oseca—and we’re already looking forward to the next Staff Forum.
